Itinerary

July 8 – Arrive to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet your hotel representative and transfer to hotel for the evening.

July 9 – Meet your Village Experience guide in the morning and head over to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for the 11 a.m. feeding of the orphaned elephants. This is one of the most important conservation organizations in all of Africa. Enjoy lunch and fair trade shopping at Langata Links. In the afternoon, visit the Giraffe Conservation Center. Return to hotel for overnight. (B)

July 10 – Morning drive to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a boat ride with the hippos and a walking safari on Crescent Island. Stop for lunch. Continue on to Lake Nakuru and check into lodge for the evening. (B,D)

July 11 – Game drives throughout the day to go in search of black and white rhino, lion, leopard, giraffe, buffalo, flamingo, and more. All meals at lodge. (B,L,D)

July 12 – Morning drive to the famous Masai Mara to witness the Great Migration. Check into tented camp and enjoy the bonfire in the evening. (B,L,D)

July 13/14 – Game drives to go in search of the Big 5 – elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo. Lots of cheetah and hyena also roam this area. All meals at camp. (B,L,D)

July 15 – Morning drive back to Nairobi. Stop for lunch upon arrival. Check into hotel for the evening. (B)

July 16 – Lazy morning to sleep in and relax. Then, drive to Nanyuki at the base of Mount Kenya – the tallest mountain in Kenya. Stop for lunch upon arrival. Check into hotel for the evening. (B)

July 17 – Spend today inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This park is home to the last surviving members of the Northern White Rhino species – Najin and Fatu. Make a special visit to meet them. Blind rhino, Baraka, also calls this park his home. Enjoy a game drive and lunch. Return to hotel in the afternoon. (B)

July 18 – Depart after breakfast for Nairobi. Enjoy a day room until your evening flight home. (B)
