This new program will help us connect to our donors on a deeper level and provide
annual funding for our most important programs. It will also ensure that we have
funding on hand to respond to emergencies and natural disasters affecting our
partner communities. Through these donations, our international team will have
the support and funding they need to enact change.
Annual donations will go to any & all of the following Village Cooperative programs:

- Operations at the Primary School & support of the Live Long Ladies in Mbita, Kenya
- Drought relief and food support to Masai villages in Amboseli, Kenya
- Empowerment of the Shela Women’s Association, annual art/culture programs with Ubunifu Lamu Initiative, and continued improvements to our community-based tourism programs in Lamu, Kenya
- Funding of the food program for the elderly in Esquintla, Guatemala
- Educational, health, & nutritional support to partner villages on Volcano Fuego, Guatemala
- Aiding in the running of vocational skills training programs in Kolkata, India
- Development of the artisan program and community guesthouse in Bolpur, India

Tom is recently retired from the Technology Industry in California and ready
to devote more time and energy into travel and exploration.
Tom and his family have been traveling with Village Experience for many years.
It is a natural fit for Tom to join the Ambassador’s Program and continue his
involvement and dedication to our cause.
Jennifer Soine
Jennifer Soine lives in California and works in the wellness and beauty industry…
she loves traveling globally with her family as well as traveling for work.
Jennifer is passionate about traveling with heart – shopping fair trade,
donating to projects, participating in community tourism…you name it.
Being a part of the new Ambassador Program is right up her alley!
Kelly Sudderth Truscott
Kelly is a business professional living between Michigan and Florida.
Traveling and learning about different cultures is one of her passions.
Kelly learned about The Village Experience on a trip to Kenya and Rwanda
and has since gotten more and more involved. She is happy to be a member of the
Ambassador’s Program and to explore more of our destinations around the world.

Amy Goforth
Amy lives in California with her family and has recently caught the travel bug.
Amy is excited to introduce everyone she knows to The Village Experience’s
responsible tourism trips and the world. Seeing the world while giving back to
communities has created a love for travel. TVE has been the perfect role model for
how to navigate the world in a socially responsible way.
Yvette Van Dalsem
Yvette is an avid traveler from California – seeing the world has always been a top priority for her.
She has been involved in charitable causes throughout her life and values giving back as a family.
This is the first time she is able to combine her love of philanthropy with her love of travel.
Yvette believes in the responsible tourism philosophy of The Village Experience.

Allison lives in New York and runs her family owned healthcare company.
She has been traveling with The Village Experience for many years now.
Allison is thrilled to join the Ambassador’s Program and help spread the
word about the importance of socially responsible tourism, community
development, and educated philanthropy.
