Itinerary

July 1 – Arrive to Arusha, Tanzania. Check into Kahawa House for the evening.

July 2 – Down day at hotel to adjust to new time zone. (B,D)

July 3 – Meet safari guide and head to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive inside the park. Then check into Burunge Tented Camp. (B,L,D)

July 4 – Game drives inside Tarangire National Park throughout the day. (B,L,D)

July 5 – Morning visit to a traditional Masai Boma. A donation of solar lights is included in your trip. Continue on to Lake Manyara National Park. Check into Manyara’s Secret Villa. (B,L,D)

July 6 – Game drive in Manyara National Park today. (B,L,D)

July 7 – Enjoy a cultural walk in Mto wa Mbu. This cross-cultural melting pot is home to more than 120 tribes, each with its own language and unique traditions. Then, proceed to Karatu and check into Ngorongoro Farm House. (B,L,D)

July 8 – Spend today inside the Ngorongoro Crater for game drives and lunch. (B,L,D)

July 9 – Depart to the Central Serengeti today for a game drive to go in search of the Great Migration of Wildebeest. Check into Lahia Tented Camp. (B,L,D)

July 10 – Game drives and sundowner experience in Serengeti National Park today. (B,L,D)

July 11 – Transfer to airport to catch flight to Zanzibar. Arrive to Stone Town and check into hotel. (B)

Vaccinations

Visit the Center for Disease Control website for up-to-date requirements (www.cdc.gov) and/or speak with a local travel doctor regarding vaccinations. We also advise that you speak with your doctor regarding a prescription for an antibiotic to combat food and water borne illnesses.

CDC recommends that travelers going to certain areas of Tanzania take prescription medicine to prevent malaria.
