MIKKI TROWBRIDGE
Mikki Trowbridge is an Oregon-based yoga teacher and instigator of community through Yoga + Beer and Resonance Yoga Collective. In addition to teaching yoga, Mikki is a Board Member for The Village Cooperative and loves traveling, reading, sipping on craft beers and getting outdoors for a hike, a paddle or to catch a sunset.

Itinerary
November 5 – Arrive to Cape Town International Airport. Meet your Village Experience guide and transfer to hotel for the evening.
November 6 – Morning yoga and welcome session at the hotel. Then enjoy breakfast and coffee. We’ll then head to Kirstenbosch Gardens to stretch our legs, relax, read a book, have a picnic and take in the beautiful scenery. Be sure to embark on the Tree Canopy Walkway. Afternoon at the V&A Waterfront for early dinner and drinks. (B,L)
November 7 – Â Morning yoga. Then enjoy breakfast and coffee. Head to Table Mountain this morning – take the fast track cable car to the top for a walking tour and some free time. The views of Cape Town from the top are unbeatable! Then, make your way to the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood for a historical walking tour and graffiti art tour. Enjoy a Cape Malay cooking class for early dinner. (B,D)
November 8 – Morning yoga. Then enjoy breakfast and coffee. Head out to Boulder’s Beach to see the resident penguin colony. Spend lunch and the afternoon at Camp’s Bay. Enjoy stunning views of 12 apostles and enjoy the beach. Return to hotel. (B)
November 9– Morning yoga. Then enjoy breakfast and coffee. Free day to explore on your own. Embark on a boat tour in search of whales, dolphins and seals. Venture out to Robben Island to learn about Nelson Mandela. Try the hop on/hop off bus to further explore. Go on a local hike, spend more time at the V&A Waterfront, or chill at the hotel. (B)
November 10 – Enjoy breakfast and coffee. Then, drive to Oudtshoorn, in the Klein Karoo Valley, stopping for lunch along the way. Check into hotel on a working ostrich farm. Afternoon yoga. Try ostrich for dinner! (B)
November 11 – Early morning Meerkat safari. Rise and shine, grab some coffee, and settle in to watch the local meerkats wake up for the day. Return to hotel for breakfast. Then, visit the 20 million year old Cango Caves. Afternoon yoga. (B)
November 12 – Enjoy breakfast and coffee. Then, drive to Stellenbosch in one of the most famous wine regions in the world. Stop for lunch along the way.  Check into your retreat cottage at Boschendal Wine Hotel and Vineyard. Afternoon yoga session. (B)
November 13 – Morning yoga. Then enjoy breakfast and coffee. Today, we will visit three wineries supporting women wine makers and black owned vineyards. We start at Klein Goederust – the only black owned vineyard in the region. We’ll enjoy a wine tasting upon arrival. Then we go to the tasting room for Aslina. This is the first Zulu woman owned wine label in South Africa. We’ll enjoy a wine tasting and some snacks. Then, we’ll end the evening with a visit to Seven Sisters for a storytelling session, wine tasting, and dinner. (B,D)
November 14 – Morning yoga. Then enjoy breakfast and coffee. Free day to hike or bike, do a horseback tour of Boschendal, embark on the wine tram, do more wine tastings, or organize massages. (B)
November 15 – Morning yoga. Then enjoy breakfast and coffee. Depart for a historical walking tour of Stellenbosch. Then, free time to shop local and have lunch. Afternoon wine tasting and farewell at Boschendal. (B)
November 16Â – Â Transfers to airport today. (B)
