Itinerary
July 8 – Arrive to Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. Meet your guide and transfer to Santika Premier Hayam Wuruk Hotel for the day.
July 9 – Meet your guide in the morning and embark on a tour of the Old Batavia Trail. Visit the cities only remaining Dutch drawbridge, the cobblestoned Fatahillah Square, and the beautiful Kali Besar Barat Street. Continue on to the shadow puppet museum, the Old Harbor, and the Red Shop. Then, head over to the Sunda Kelapa Harbor to see historical schooners used to transport items around the archipelago. China Town is next! Stop at the oldest Chinese Temple, Jin De Yuan and end the day at Jalan Surabaya Market. Return to hotel in the early evening. (B)
July 10 – Today, you’ll visit the National Museum in the morning to see the country’s most complete collections of bronzes and ceramics dating to the Han, Tang, and Ming Dynasties. Next stop, is the National Monument of Indonesia – built to commemorate the struggle for independence. After stopping for lunch, visit the Istiqlal Mosque – the largest in SouthEast Asia. Free time in the afternoon. (B)
July 11 – Free day to explore on your own. (B)
July 12 – Transfer to airport for morning flight to Yogyakarta. Check into D’Omah Hotel. Hop on a bike and explore the village. (B)
July 13 – UNESCO World Heritage day with visits to the stunning Borobudur Temple complex and Prambanan Temple complex. Step back in history at these sites. Return to hotel in the early evening. (B)
July 14 – Relax today and soak up the village vibes. You’ll participate in a Batik making class in the village today. (B)
July 15 – Transfer to airport for early morning direct flight to Padang. Meet your representative and embark on a city tour to get acquainted with your new surroundings. Stop for lunch. Then, check into Pangeran City Hotel in Padang City for the evening. (B)
July 16 – Enjoy a tour of the Minangkabau area today including stops at beautiful rice terraces, fertile valleys, the Pagaruyung Palace, Fort de Kock, viewpoint of Mount Merapi, the clock tower, and Sianok Canyon. Return to Padang City in the evening. (B)
July 17 – Free day to explore Padang City on your own. (B)
July 18 – Transfer to airport in the morning for flight to Bali via Jakarta. Arrive to Bali in the evening. Transfer to Kejora Suites in Sanur for the evening. (B)
July 19 – After breakfast, transfer 3 hours to Ubud. Stop to visit Monkey Forest and the Campuhan Ridge hiking trail before checking into Ubud Village hotel for the evening. (B)
July 20 – Temple day. Visit the holy water temple of Tirta Empul, Besakih Temple on the slopes of Mount Agung, and the colorful Gunung Kawi Temple in Sebatu. Return to hotel in the evening. (B)
July 21 – Free day to walk around and explore Ubud’s markets, temples, restaurants, and more. (B)
July 22 – Depart for Munduk today making stops at the famous Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, the Ulandanu Temple, and the twin lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan for a boat ride. Check into your stunning hotel, Munduk Moding Plantation, located on a coffee plantation in the jungle. (B)
July 23 – Free day at hotel. (B)
July 24 – Check out of hotel and head to the Taman Ayun Temple and the Tanah Lot Temple on your way back down to Sanur. Check into Kejora Suites for the evening. (B)
July 25 & 26 – Free day to enjoy the beach, the boardwalk, the hotel pool, or any of the surrounding shops and restaurants. (B)
July 27 – Transfer to airport after check out for flight home. (B)

- e-Customs Declaration Form – The e-Customs Declaration form can be completed up to 3 days before arrival in Indonesia. Go to the following website to complete the form: https://ecd.beacukai.go.id/.
- Travel Insurance – Medical evacuation, repatriation and medical coverage are required by The Village Experience. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage.
