March 25 – Arrive to Guatemala City. Meet TVE representative and transfer to Antigua. Check into homestay. Shop for groceries in the afternoon. (D)
March 26 – Free day to get reacquainted with the city.
March 27 – Spanish Class 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Saul Cafe/Good Hotel. (B,L,D)

Visit to Macadamia Nut farm with lunch. (B,L,D)

Tour of 3 surrounding villages with Ingrid. She’ll pick some of the most interesting places to see on the outskirts of Antigua. (B,L,D)

April 1 – Day trip to see the cemetery, Mayan statues, and unique churches of Chichicastenango. After lunch, visit the ancient Mayan ruins at Iximche. Return to Antigua. (B,D)
April 2 – Attend the Palm Sunday Procession with local guide. Visit some of the local churches to see their Easter preparations.

Walking tour to see Santa Clara Convent, Museum of Colonial Art, and Museum of National Art. (B,L,D)

April 5 – Afternoon adventure with local guide to San Mateo Milpas Altas to watch saw dust carpets being made before the procession of Jesus of Nazareth and the Virgin Mary. (B,L,D)
April 6 – Join Ingrid today for a visit to her home village of San Pedro Yepocpa near Volcano Fuego. This will be such a special day as you get to meet her family, have lunch with them, and see where she grew up. Enjoy a walking tour in the evening to see the sawdust carpet activities with local guide. (B,L,D)
April 7 – Attend the Good Friday procession with local guide. (B,L,D)
April 8 – Attend the Holy Saturday Procession to Virgin Mary with local guide. (B,L,D)
April 9 – Attend Easter Sunday Mass with Ingrid.
