Itinerary
May 11 –Â Arrive to Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City. Meet airport representative and transfer to accommodations to meet the group.
May 12 – Meet your guide in the morning for a tour of the Zocalo area including Templo Mayor, Constitution Plaza, Palacio de Bellas Artes, and Metropolitan Cathedral. You’ll then explore the Diego Rivera Murals at the Ministry of Education. Stop for lunch. Then, visit the Museum of Modern Art to see Fridah Kahlo’s Las Dos Fridas painting. Return to accommodations in the afternoon. Be sure to head out and explore the restaurant scene in the evening. (B)
May 13 –Â Enjoy a day trip to the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Teotihuacan Pyramids in the morning. The pyramid of the Sun and the pyramid of the Moon are the highlights of this site. In the afternoon, visit the Anthropology Museum. This museum houses an incredible collection of Mexican artifacts including the famous Sun Stone. (B)
May 14 – Frida Kahlo day in Coyoacan. You’ll visit Casa Azul and Casa Rojo (newly opened!) museums, the graffiti murals, the artisan market, and a fun, local lunch. This will be one of the most colorful and inspiring days of the trip as Friday Kahlo is the hero of the day. Return to accommodations in the evening. (B,L)
May 15 –Â Free day to explore more of Mexico City. We suggest spending the day exploring the fun neighborhoods of the city to find unique boutiques, amazing local food, coffee shops, and more art. (B)
May 16 –Â Transfer to airport for flight home. (B)

Visit the Center for Disease Control website for up-to-date requirements (www.cdc.gov) and/or speak with a local travel doctor regarding vaccinations.

We also advise that you speak with your doctor regarding a prescription for an antibiotic to combat food and water borne illnesses.

2. Visa – No visa required
3. FMMd form –Â You will receive this migratory form during your flight or at immigration.
4. Travel Insurance – Medical evacuation, repatriation and medical coverage are required by The Village Experience. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage.
