Itinerary
March 22 – Arrive to Guatemala City International Airport. Meet your TVE representative and transfer to hotel in Antigua. Check in and let the kids run wild at the pool and playground for the evening.
March 23 – After breakfast, meet your guide and embark on a walking tour around the UNESCO World Heritage City of Antigua. Walk the cobblestone streets, explore Central Park, stop for lunch on Fifth Avenue, visit ancient ruins, and ride on a colorful Chicken Bus! Head back to the hotel for an afternoon of swimming. (B)
March 24 – Today, we will board our 4×4 trucks and head up the slopes of Volcano Fuego for a day of service with our partners at Vamos Adelante. We’ll participate in a food distribution to the elderly and a special project with the kids of the village. Packed lunches will be served on site. Return to hotel in the afternoon. (B,L)
March 25 – Free day to relax at the pool, enjoy the spa, continue exploring Antigua, or book an optional tour – chocolate making class, ATVs, coffee tour, cooking class, and more! (B)
March 26 – Check out of hotel and drive to Lake Atitlan. This majestic lake is surrounded by 3 beautiful volcanoes and lots of Mayan Villages. Check into hotel overlooking the lake and enjoy the afternoon. The kids will love the pool, hot tub, and huge botanical gardens! (B)
March 27 – After breakfast, board private boat and head to San Juan La Laguna for a walk through the town, a chocolate making demonstration, and a weaving demonstration from a local women’s artisan cooperative. Then, head to Santa Cruz and board tuktuks to have lunch at Amigos de Santa Cruz hospitality center. Head back to hotel in the afternoon to enjoy the pool. (B)
March 28 – Today, we will check out and take picnic lunches, grab some games, soccer balls and toys, and head to the ancient Mayan ruins of Iximche for the day. Learn about the Mayan culture, explore the ruins, enjoy a picnic lunch, and lots of play time. Drive to Guatemala City and check into to hotel for the evening. (B,L)
March 29 – Transfers to airport for international flights home. Check out time 10 a.m. (B)

Visit the Center for Disease Control website for up-to-date requirements (www.cdc.gov) and/or speak with a local travel doctor regarding vaccinations. We also advise that you speak with your doctor regarding a prescription for an antibiotic to combat food and water borne illnesses.
