Join Mikki Trowbridge, participants on the October 2025 Guatemala Trip, and the Village Experience in raising funds for our partners living on the slopes of Volcano Fuego. We continue to support and strengthen our relationships with communities in Ceylan, Zapote, Osuna, ChuChu, and more with each and every trip. FOOD DISTRIBUTION TO THE ELDERLY
The Village Experience is the sole provider of this feeding program to more than 100 elderly people in 7 villages living on the slopes of
Volcano Fuego. Much needed food is distributed to participants in the elderly program several times a year. Participants are those who do
not have other family members to help them or support from the government. They are living on their own and rely on the kindness and
goodwill of our network to help them through the difficult times.

ECO WATER FILTERS FOR VULNERABLE FAMILIES
We are raising money to purchase Guatemalan made Eco Water Filters for families in need of clean drinking water in our partner villages. Living so close to Volcano Fuego means that lots of ash gets into the water supply. Having a water filtration system on hand is a huge benefit to the health of the family and the community at large.
Amount Needed: $2,000
KITCHEN SUPPLY KITS
We will be purchasing and packing up essential kitchen supply kits for both the elderly and other vulnerable members of the program throughout our partner villages. Things like pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, storage containers, water pitchers, and cooking utensils are desperately needed in these isolated communities.
